Containers

Pixspan is compatible with file containers, such as Zip. The Pixspan-Zip option is software that creates a Zip file for full-resolution images:

File: Pixspan creates a standard Zip file with images compressed with Pixspan compression, specifically for full-resolution images
Speed: Pixspan creates a Zip file extremely quickly, using multi-processing on standard servers
Index: A Zip index is created for each file. Individual images or clips can be selected and decoded without decoding the entire Zip file
